Educational methods and techniques at Dar Al-Hadith Al-Filfilaniyyah School in Penang, Malaysia: A field study

Abstract

مدرسة دار الحديث الفلفلانية إحدى المدارس الدينية بولاية بينانج بماليزيا، وهي مسجلة في مكتب الشؤن الدينية في ولاية بينانج في 20 ديسمبر 2012، تهتم بدراسة العلوم الإسلامية والعربية بصورة متميزة وفي هذا البجث قمنا بصياغة وبحث بعض المعلومات والبيانات الواقعية والتي تم جمعها من الميدان التربوي في "مدرسة دار الحديث الفلفلانية" بولاية بينانج في ماليزيا، بوصفها نموذجًا للمدارس الدينية التي تجمع بين التعليم الديني والمهارات الحديثة في إطار من القيم الإسلامية الأصيلة. وقد اعتمدت الدراسة الميدانية على الاستبانة باعتبارها الأداة الرئيسة لجمع البيانات، وذلك بهدف الوقوف على واقع استخدام أساليب ووسائل التربية في المدرسة من وجهة نظر القيادات الإدارية والمعلمين والطلاب ودرجة أهميتها. وقد تم تحليل النتائج بطريقة كمية وصفية، من خلال حساب المتوسطات الحسابية، والانحرافات المعيارية، والنسب المئوية، بالإضافة إلى تحليل الفجوة بين الأهمية والتوافر، بهدف الكشف عن جوانب القوة ومواطن القصور في التطبيق التربوي.

Dar Al-Hadith Al-Filfilaniyyah School is a religious educational institution located in the state of Penang, Malaysia, and has been officially registered with the Penang Islamic Religious Affairs Department since December 20, 2012. The school is highly distinguished for its dedication to the study of Islamic and Arabic sciences. This study formulates and examines empirical data and information gathered directly from the educational field at Dar Al-Hadith Al-Filfilaniyyah School, positioning it as a model for religious schools that integrate religious education with modern skills within a framework of authentic Islamic values.

The field study utilized a questionnaire as the primary instrument for data collection, aiming to assess the current utilization and perceived importance of educational methods and means within the school from the perspectives of administrative leaders, teachers, and students. The gathered data were analyzed quantitatively and descriptively by calculating arithmetic means, standard deviations, and percentages. Furthermore, a gap analysis between importance and availability was conducted to identify strengths and deficiencies in current educational practices.
