Slavery Between Philosophy and Islam

Abstract

تعد قضية الرق من القضايا الضاربة بجذورها في أعماق التاريخ البشري، ولكل من الفلسفة والشرائع السماوية والأديان الوضعية موقفها الخاص بها من هذه القضية، وهذا البحث يركز على موقف كل من الفلسفة من خلال كبار رموزها والإسلام من هذه القضية لمعرفة أي منهما كان أقرب إلى العقلانية والموضوعية والرحمة من الآخر، وقد استخدم الباحث في هذه الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي مع تطبيق أدوات الدراسة المقارنة، ثم أتبع ذلك بخاتمة وأهم التوصيات.  

The issue of slavery is one of the most deeply rooted issues in human history, and each of the world's philosophies, divine laws, and man-made religions has its own position on this issue. This research focuses on the position of both philosophy through its leading figures and Islam on this issue to determine which of them was closer to rationality, objectivity and mercy than the other. In this study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach with the application of comparative study tools, then followed that with a conclusion and the most important recommendations.
